Hidden Tactics

In a lot of my games I miss a lot of tactics that tend to ruin my position or that can hurt my opponent's. In this game I thought I was always safe but I missed many tactical shots that let Black back in the game.

It is odd because in my open sicilian games and when I was playing the Smith Morra I could find interesting piece sacrifices all the time but here I am losing ground to very simple threats.
So what should I do to see these things better in my games?

    Button Reference

Click on a button below for a complete description of how to use it.

Insert chess diagram, game, or puzzle

Use this Chess.com exclusive feature to insert chess diagrams, replayable games, or interactive puzzles. Click the chessboard icon to open the Chess.com editor. You can choose 3 types of positions to insert:

    Diagram:

Displays a simple static diagram - pieces do not move

Useful for showing just one key position

    Game or sequence of moves:

Start with any position - from the beginning of game or in the middle

Allows viewers to interactively play through a complete game or set of moves

Puzzle, problem, or challenge to be solved:

Start with any position and end with any solution

Lets users try and solve for the correct move

You can also choose 3 different starting methods. You should use the most detailed starting information possible to save yourself time recreating the game or position.

Blank: A new blank chessboard with no moves made
FEN string: A series of letters/numbers that describe a static position
PGN file: Text file the describes the details, moves, and comments of a game or series of moves

Once you have started to create a chess position (or game or puzzle) you will see a set of tabs at the top right. Those allow you to customize your chess position.

study the game to see how you could win. so what about Ra2 (defend the 2nd rank ) then play Kb5-Kb6 (black has to stop this so Kb5 Rb7+ Kxa5 and over.

Why didn't you just take the a4 pawn?  If ...Rb2 Rg3, it looks pretty simple.

The endgame wasn't a problem. I just didn't want to rush it and tried to get to move 40 but ended up doing a repetition by mistake.

you do know that programs will "think" on your time as well right? so 1 sec is nothing if you take a long time to make a move.
