Can anyone tell me, how come I have played 288 unrated games as a greeter and these are  beside's the unrated games I normally play, yet there are only 189 unrated games shown on my chess page. Why???

Non premium members have their games erased from the archive after 30 days.

i don't think they are erased. they are just sitting there waiting for curiosity to build up...  until you can't take it anymore and have to buy a membership.... or check-in to a methadone clinic

What you are saying cannot be right, see below all my other statistics in this section have not been erased. So I ask again how come, my 288 unrated games played as a greeter are not shown???

True, no games are erased from the database (as badly as i want some to be).

Non-paying members only have access to the last 30 days worth of their games, but they stay in the database.

I have no idea why there is a differentiation between your greeter games and non-rated games. That is curious.

Oh thanks retguvvie, I did look all through the forums before trying to make the right decisions as to where I should ask this question, but this forum does state:- 'Have something to discuss that doesn't really fit elsewhere? Say it here'!

Just a thought, but a lot of your greeter games only run for 1 or 2 moves - these games wouldn't affect ratings for rated games, maybe the don't count at all...

I can't imagine what you're saying to put people off so quickly ;-)
