How different is playing in real tournment compared to online?

    I just wonder how one feels playing in tournment with real chess board/pcs when compared to online/PC chess?

    Real tournaments have more stress because they "count". Either you're on a team, or it's USCF-rated (or FIDE-rated), or something else. Online it's just it's own pool of ratings. Every time I go to Yahoo chess (maybe once a year haha) it's like it's the first time. Zero stress.
