How many games it may take to get a negative Rating?
0 is the lowest u can get ask timmylivinalie, he wanted - rating, but culdnt
I would say anything over 25 games is to much.
The statement in bold is AC's question
I'M not even sure if one can get a negitive rating but it would take less
games if one challenged lower rated players and lost.
plz read my first comment then type timmylivinalie in the search box
47 games...
For me Greg! Another seven tournaments at the same time and I am gone into -ve rating .... :((
Ill tell you when I get there.
You would have to lose eleven games out of ten.

OK! Jooin my 8 new Tournaments!
or probably lose to some1 that already has a - rating while having a 0 rating yourself, but seeming bothis impossible..
I wouldn't want to have a negative rating.
The Glicko system is not set up to rate below zero. A quick Google could have toldyou that! :)
hmm...it's like.. when you are alive, your IQ is probably around 100 or something..but when you die..I guess your IQ goes down to 0, it doesn't get negative?
..okay..just forget it :S looool..now that was kinda embarrassing
(i didnt say this)
There's a long established fable at Chess.com, that if anyone ever gets a negative rating then the space/time continuum will be irrecoverably damaged and we will all be sucked into a parallel universe, where Lenny_Bongcloud is the World Champion and AWARDCHESS is King.
erik, the Guardian of the Portal, has vowed that this shall never come to pass.
Why???
Who is a Guardian?
That would be your friend erik
That guy standing behind you... yeah, him with the big key ring and nice white outfit, he's your guardian.
Psssst! I'll help you escape for half your medication.
