Hey guys, how many moves does a king(there only piece that can move in the board) have to move to reach a stalemate? How many moves (in chess.com)?
pellik
Stalemate is when the king is not mated but there are no legal moves. The 50 move rule is that if no pawns are moved and nothing is captured for 50 moves the game is drawn.
Estragon
Stalemate is also automatic because the site computer recognizes there are no legal moves. A draw by the 50 move rule or by repetition of position must be claimed by a player or the game continues.
