what type of time control do you play on?

and to find more tactics in your games you must first evaluate the position is it a tactical position ore a positional position if its a tactical position then you must calculate you may ask what should i calculate? and the answer is forcing moves let me show you a example

hope this helps bye :)

Dont get caught up in "tactical" or "positional".   Just study tactics, and youll improve your pattern recognition.

Thank you so much!

In Yasser Seirawan's Winning Chess Tactics, he refers to Yuri Averbak's Rules of Recognition which involve loose pieces, exposed king, etc. Dan Heisman has a similar concept called The Seeds of Tactical Destruction which I think is in an older Novice Nook. These describe ways to recognize the potential for tactics, but not the actual tactics themselves. That is more about pattern recognition and calculation. Try using Google to find those subjects for more information.

Good luck!
