I think spending a few $ to be a member and thus avoid time outs would be beneficial. I await your challenge.

That is probably true, but then again I am 14 (I will be 15 soon though). If I could I would, but I can't for a few years. I would truly appreciate if someone could get me one of those "gift memberships".

When I return in a week I will be back and better than ever! *1 week later* As the title suggests, I am back...with a vengence.

Perhaps I misphrased my plan a bit, I intend to challenge not EVERY person, my computer would sooner crash than allow that, I intend to challenge 'a lot' of people. Also, in case no one knows by now, I tend to challenge people of higher ratings a lot. 1: I'm not afraid to play a grandmaster or other professional, I actually relish the challenge and 2: my ratings go up more when/if I win.

Ok, I've been playing go for a while and now returning to chess...I no longer have a need for any crazy schemes. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. (I've still been playing some chess in rl though) As fun as crazy schemes like this can be, they're about as successful as simple straightforward play, just more exciting.

Hey guys, I have a confession to make. I know it seems like I haven't been playing chess that much, you must be thinking it's because by "plan" didn't go very well...but no, it had nothing to do with that. I haven't played chess in a while because...I've been playing go (in case you don't know, go is a chinese board game played on a 19x19 board). But just because I play go doesn't mean I should disregard chess, starting now I will be just as dedicated to chess as when I found this site IF NOT MORE.
