Hi all! please excuse the spelling if their are any spelling errors. I logged on today and I when I tried to type in forums I could not see the letters while I am typing them I am using safari. Why is this happening and how do you fix it. am I the only one experiancing this problem?
Control r for firefox. control f5 for internet explorer.
on a macantoshh computer.
It was happening with me too.
try typing with your eyes open
I already do.
I had the same problem a couple of days ago. It happened after a fix they did to the website at that time. I was then told that the solution is to use CONTROL + r (or CONTROL + f5 for Internet Explorer) while the cursor is in the text window. That worked for me. I think it is supposed to clear out your browser cache, or something like that. I don't know what the solution is for Safari, but I guess if you can find out how to clear out your browser cache, I guess that should work for you.
Good luck!
George
Yeah, f5 I usually press. But I didn't that time I just do it when I'm changing avatar.
2 days ago I got the same problem !
Now, it had been solved by itself !
Strange
Here is a link to a forum thread Erik posted about using CONTROL + r. He explains it much better than I can:

Once again, good luck!
guys just do either ctr+r or control+f5!!!! try them both!

This happens on occasion, owing most likely to the fact that despite how awesome it is, the internet is not perfect. Things mess up. If control + r doesn't work for you for some reason relating to using a mac, just refresh the page, or close the browser and re open it. The problem is most likely due to a browser error, which doesn't happen often and will probably be fixed the next time the page loads.
Apparently in safari cmd-option-E empties the cache, so I would try that and then refresh.
Ctr+r dosen't work for me, only f5.
