I have read books, played 3 times per day... and have done everything possible to get better but im still not even able to beat the average 1000 ranked players

What are the basic things i need to work on to geet better at chess... it just seems to be hard to get better and good players dont want to take the time to help u get better

Can I have your chess stuff?

Thinking people who took the time to actually offer advice would have dibs and I don't remember seeing you.

Anyway, keep your chess stuff 47, you may find yourself wishing you had it someday.  Have taken several year +  long breaks from the game since I found it but I always seem to come back to it with vigor.

If fact, taking a break could possibly be a good thing in some cases.  I've even heard people say they came back stronger after taking a break.

    Is that you?

i started out by playing 1,330 5 min. blitz games in about 3 months. my rating was stuck around 1180 & i was beginning to drool a little but i got a lot of games under my belt. then i stopped playing for 2 1/2 months then started up with live standard games & picked up 200 points on my rating but i'm stagnating again. i was thinking of switching to 10 or 5 min. games just to see what happens. i know this is not by the book but i'm having fun finding my own way.
