im here to say that i HATE knights, now, im not sure what other people hate but im pretty sure that the majority is any piece (lol).. so, y dont you'll just tell what you dont like. im sure we will all learn a little about the game of chess by seeing the majorities of peoples dislikes...
I love knights! You can just drop them on a square and create chaos. They're so harmonious, and you get such pretty patterns!
I've hated the queen for quite some time. I don't completely understand her powers. It's bad enough when I am using her in an attack and miss opportunities to use her full potential. What is worse, though, is when my opponent attacks me with a queen and I miss important defensive necessities. I tend to trade queens if I get a good opportunity.
Let us just say that understanding the queen is one of the areas where I could use some improvement.
i dislike Bishops honestly...maybe cause i'm Catholic?
I hate rooks. Rook and pawn endings are too boring. By the way, a queens full power is beyond human comprehention in some endgames. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
I hate knights. In games, I often place too much emphasis on a bishop pair.
However, when a knight pair is placed close to my even slightly open king, it feels a lot of pressure.
I hate queens cause I'm always losing mine
I do not like the queen, I try and trade as soon as possible. I know how to play a queen, but I would rather make the game funner and trade it off, it often catches my opponents off guard and I win.
I hate pawns, sometimes I hate bishops, definitely hate rooks and knights, that queen is a total bitch and that king jeez....
I like all my pieces! There's no piece I dislike, let alone hate. What I hate is when my opponent corners me with his pieces, or sets me up with any of them...!
I think the way the chess pieces interact in the board is just BRILLIANT!!!
Chess is a art :"" all the pieces play apart in the game it you learn to use well?
KING DEAD.
i love my knights and hate my opponents. So I tend to trade off the bishops, or a rook for 2 knights(Better yet for me). It depends on the game though. I think we have all been in an end game where you both have a rook and pawns, but the player with the extra knight trumps the game. an extra bishop helps, but it's easier to stay off the color the bishop rules where the knight slithers around too much and makes you have to contantly be careful from being forked. As for the guy who said he hates the queen...WHAT"S THE MATTER WITH YOU!!!!

Agreeed.
The fact that they can't be blocked is just so awesome.
To the OP: Learn to use your own Knights well and you'll start loving them too. :D
