No seriously, I like this place cause it's got it all, forums, teams, customizable profiles.  I like it alot more than facebook or myspace.  I used to play on QueenAlice.com & while I enjoyed it while there it's amazing how much better this place is.  Big ups to Eric for making this place what it is, the best chess spot on the Internet!

I like the FREE part because I have been unemployed for 5 years!! OUCH and now I'm screwed with this economy...

because i caN ACTUALLY talk about chess while playing a game...i played on yahoo since '97 and those fools didnt talk about chess to save thier lives, just a bunch of spambots selling sex and jerks yapping about nothing

I like chess.com  for talking to others about the game.   I don't play any games on here though.  Right now I'm focusing on playing long games at my club and other places OTB.   I don't want to play fast games until I learn how to play chess. 

 When you have been unemployed for that long how is it possible that this economy could make your situation worse?
