i started playing chess 2 years ago
iam 21 years old
and my rank is 1960 in this site
i just play blitz3 min
and never played otb chess
what makes me good in this small period of time (2 years)
is playing over gm games
and i discoverd their system how they calculate very well
and i will tell u for free
u should study and notice the consequences of any piece movement
and train ur self hard to spot it
today i will give u the consequences of all knights movement
1_the knight move away from the center
2_the knight block something (lines_diognals_ranks)
3_the knight open something (lines _diognals_ranks)
4_the knight move to a square that u can pin it
5_the knight move and weaken its own king
6_there is a situation on the board where 2 knights are defending each other
so when one of them move u should notice it
7_the knight move to a square that its no longer protected
b_bishops consequences
1_bishop change its diognal
as u see that what i mentioned isnt tactics nor strategy
its board vision and dynamic play
u should train ur self to see them all the time if u want to improve
this is all knights movement consequences and one of bishops consequences
i have hunderds of them collected them all from grandmaster games
and i wont give it to u
collect it ur self
anand and capablanca games is full of consequences
for other pieces consequences i will write them tommorow
keep in touch . ^^
sry for my bad english

Good for blitz and spotting some really obvious things, but in longer games this superficial 1-2 move responses are not as useful at all.
My point is that it is not always that simple.
chessmaster102
nice very cool.
of course u are right
i didnt say u should use it all the time when u see it
of course u should calculate further
it just give u candidate moves for calculating
and my examples isnt from blitz games
its from grandmaters tournament games

I have to disagree, except for the first one, these are all tactics. Pins, forks, etc.
Im sure he knows all that but he was just giving only these set of tactics as a sample of just strengthening pattern recognition by only using knight moves and the certain tactics used for each mini puzzle.
yeah right
those patterns are very important
u wont see them in puzzle books
just wait and see other pieces patterns
i added one important bishops consequences in the main topic check it plz
I dont get the second before last puzzel of the bishops how is black wining.
i dont know
but its fritz move
ok take this one instead
this is me against tough guy
i used my system to find the winning move in one second
LAexpress12
if you dont know why black is winning without fritz's help, mabye you shouldnt be teaching. im sorry to say i font understand most of what you are trying to say.
This is the only part of what he said that i was disagreeing with.

To be honest I think your system is valid there is a NM in my area (top 10 in state even) who when interviewed (he was 17 when he became a master so a bit of a prodigy) he said he didn't work on anything except puzzles for tactics and to many that was hard to believe but maybe he discovered this formula your talking about. even though he plays at a CM level (just slightly less) in blitz and he even beat a LM in a 3 game match once.
echecs06
Is it useful to under 1800 players?
ok lets complete bishop consequences
i explained the (change diognal) in the main topic
2_bishop close (files or ranks)
3_bishop open files or ranks
4_unprotected bishop
(easy no diagram needed)
5_pinning bishop
tommorow i will explain the rook and queen consequences
yograjmatrx
Nice examples. Keep going
yes
ur opponent moves is what guide ur moves
at least its very useful in blitz
although all examples is from high level play
look at names of grandmasters who played above examples
