Banned for words.
I would name them all 'inch' so I could brag that I have 8 inches.
Example of usage: deadly was sacrificed to let saddy take the opponents happy
I dunno but I reckon my c-pawn is called Agrajag because I play the Queen's gambit.
(I hope someone gets the reference!)
Poor Agrajag, always an innocent victim!
The d-pawn would most definitely be "Delroy" as Jonathan Rowson calls it.
White : from left to right. This is more "what pawns would say if they could say one sentence/ thing"
pawn a2: Please promote me !
Pawn b2: I'll help the guy on the left promote, but I can't defend, I however do like to attack knights and trap bishops.
Pawn c3: Free me to unleash the queen, I will get blockaded and cause breaks on the left.
Pawn d4: push me in the center, I'm a brute
Pawn e4: I'm so special
Pawn f4: I'm not too good at stopping mates
pawn g4: I don't do much in development except create weaknesses; fianchetto me, or let me attack the king-side castle fortress.. I'm ready.
pawn h4: I'm ready to push towards the kingside castle even to be sacrificed, and I'd love to turn into a queen and mate their king. hehe.
You might as well name your minor pieces and so forth because they themselves serve a different purpose with respect to the queen postioning and their emphasis in the opening structure roles.
would suffice for me.
I'd name them after Disney's seven Dwarfs and then I'd have the Pawn with no name like in the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
"If pawns had names, what would you name each pawn?"
If they already had names, why would I need to name them?
Oh, with such a sharp mind you must have aced those tests you were stressing about awhile back.
Is 8 hours of chess enough for a 4 year old future world champion?
