G'day mates. Name's Brandon, I'm pretty new here. But anyway, I am on my Mac andn the pieces refuse to show up on the board. However, on my other Mac, they show up perfectly fine. Anyone know the cause of this? Thanks in advance.

well it depends what software you are using, thats what happens on the computers at school, the pieces wont show up on safari but they show on firefox. however you cant send messages on firefox but have to use safari. so you are running to programs at once. or something like that

I'm on a mac right now and sometimes if you have too many programs running it will not load everything on the page. I don't have the problem anymore, but I did with my old mac. Also, it might not be entirely compatable with Safari so you could try switching your browser to Internet Explorer or whatever. Just a suggestion.

Well, I'm running on Safari. However, my upstairs Mac is exactly the same, running Safari, but brings the pieces right up. I don't understand why the pieces would fail to show on my basement Mac.

Is your basement Mac running on an older version of Safari. Download Safari Beta 3 and see how you go.

Just checked it, and you're right. The Mac I'm on now has version 3.0.4, while i think the basement is running something like 2.8.0. So apparently, I need to update. So for the record, the chess all functions of the site seem to work correctly on Safari 3.0.4.

I was about to suggest that to bad somebody beat me to it, the reason I knew the answer right off is because I had that problem to fix on the computers at my school
