I am in need of a person who has the following qualities and is willing to help me out.
1. you come online every single day (unless something else is occuring like a vacation)
2. you will be able to help out with invites every day, inviting 30 1700+ members each day.
3. You will remain faithful to the group, and always do your best to help out. If some situation comes up that would stop you from doing inviting for a period of time, I would also like to be alerted. I need 2 admins who can invite in case 1 cannot be active at a certain time.
Is this a salary position, or hourly wage?
I demand stock options.
There is no salary.. its voluntary, but if you do it, it would help the group develop and we are growing very fast, so it would help us to keep up with the top teams on the site. Even if you don't want the position, We would love to have you pathfinder. Here is a link to my group.
I see you have fallen into the chess.com match play trap. Whoever has the biggest nuclear arsenal wins.
I suggest a United States Chess League style might be less stressful. If not for you, maybe other admins. Basically the rosters are set so there is no advantage to either team. http://www.uschessleague.com/
There is a group here http://www.chess.com/groups/view/united-states-chess-league to publicize it.
Any group admins who want to play that style, message me to set up a match.
I don't want to invite members as it is too time-consuming, but I joined your group to increase your member count by 1 :)
p.s. is it ok to be a member of your group without joining team matches as i only play live chess
I have kids so I'm gonna need medical and dental. 2 wks paid vacation and a company car.(for starters)
Nah, if he really wants the invites, he'll give more. what you said, car insurance, a month paid vacation, and 100,000 a year. then I'll take it.
(But really, I sent you a message pawnpusher. I hope to find time soon. If its just inviting, then I might be able to.)
sure, no problem. I've thought about it, and 30 invites a day seems not hard. I'll take it. I'll join in a mo.
""I am sorry that you had to be bothered by this matter of my wanting to resign my membership in the Academy. It must be quite a job worrying about all the peculiar whims of all the strange birds that make up your flock..."My desire to resign is merely a personal one; it is not meant as a protest of any kind, or a criticism of the Academy or its activities. Perhaps it is just that i enjoy being peculiar. My peculiarity is this: I find it psychologically very distasteful to judge people's 'merit.' So I cannot participate in the main activity of selecting people for membership. To be a member of a group, of which an important activity is to choose others deemed worthy of membership in that self-esteemed group bothers me. The care with which we select 'those worthy of the honor' of joining the Academy feels to me like a form of self-praise. How can we say only the best must be allowed in to join those who are already in, without loudly proclaiming to our inner selves that we who are in must be very good indeed. Of course I believe I am very good indeed, but that is a private matter and I cannot publicly admit that I do so, to such an extent that I have the nerve to decide that this man, or that, is not worthy of joining my elite club." - Richard Feynman to the National Academy of Sciences
Well guess what? HE JUST DID!
In private correspondence. How does that work?
That's a very strong group you've got there, Pawnpusher3.
Best of luck with it!
