Is Chess A Good Way To Get Chicks?

For many years I coached our high school chess team. We played our matches on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the winter. During one particularly tough winter, several of our matches were postponed due to weather, and we rescheduled the best we could. But we were forced to travel an hour away on a Friday night to make up one of them.
We were ALL on the bus--no absences--and I thanked them profusely for giving up their Friday night to come out and make up a match. One of my top boards said, "Don't sweat it. We're the chess team. Where else were we going to go?"
One word: Capablanca
Are you kidding? My best pick-up line is, "How about a game of chess?" Try it. You'll be thanking me later.

Well if you share a hobby, it can perhaps be nice, but I doubt it.
