Don't just go through lines, but try to learn strategic ideas. An old, but good book is Rueben Fine's "The Ideas behind chess openings". Another good book is Ludek Pachman's "chess openings".
Is it ok to study openings at 1600

After reviewing some of your games. Openings arent your issue, hanging pieces, and missing simple tactics are.
Work on your tactics.
