Is the only way to get out of pins is to pin back?!

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone believe that sometimes the only way to get out of the pins is to pin the piece that pins your piece? This game will help you decide.

1... Rd2: Probably the smartest move to play, White Unpins by Pinning the Pinner.
2.Ke7: This move is just as ok as the other moves, considering whatever black does his bishop will not survive.
3.Qxd6+: The black bishop is gone and Black is stuck.
Tell me, do u think that sometimes to only way to get out of pins is to unpin?

though its not too much black would be better off trying 1...Rf6 hoping that white will capture with the rook with 2.Rxd6+ Rxd6 and go into the theoretically winning but difficult queen vs rook ending.  Instead white can calmly play 2.Kg2 Ke7 and after something like Qe3+ or basically any other queen move that isnt along the f-file or the b8-h2 diagonal and try to mate with the queen and rook or trade the rooks off and win with the queen against the bishop ending.
