Too early to tell
But when was the last time he played guys in the top 10 and not American players that are a good 300 points or more less than him?
The St. Louis uscl is going crazy cuz they won but lmao you bought 2 players in the worlds top 30 if you don't win Rex S is gonna be mad
Than, not then.
Calsen is not only the highest rated player by a category, he's also the Classical World Champion, the Rapid World Champion, and the Blitz World Champion. So So can't hope to be better in the opening, middle, or end game, or if he has more or less clock time. His best bet in my opinion is to smuggle a cell phone into Carlsen's pocket, and have somebody call it during the game. Instant DQ victory! Probably only good once in a match though, so sorry So.
It's hard to say how far So will go, but he is 20 years old and has a bit left before he is top 30. Carlsen was #21 before he turned 16, and had been #1 for a year when he turned 20. So could well be a future top ten player, but he will still need to improve a lot to get there.
by now, he is!
Idk if he's better or not but he plays an incredible style, completely willing to sacrifice a pawn to his opponent to get a positional/tactical edge and bring it home to victory. I wish him well and am definitely a fan.
Happy he's now representing us in Minnesota! :D
Is a herp derp topic started 2 years ago better than a herp derp topic started today?
is that malicious? avast blocks..
lel. Obviously not. Have they even played before?
IE wont let you close the window I think.
If you use a browser that's not ridiculous or 10 years old you should be fine though.
i use firefox 33.0
but, that page is blocked by Avast 2014.
I don't care :p
It looks like Wesley So has arrived on the world stage
Only time will tell if So can be a serious threat to Carlsen. For the time being though,Carlsen is the stronger player.
Wesly So is the next challenger to Calsen's throne. Currently, he is the only undefeated player in Tata Steel. He drew to Carlsen and dismantled Aronian and Ivanchuk. I love to see him challenge Magnus in the near future
