 heheh... but would be unknownable, all you would be able to do is calculate the probability that it has gone wrong.

Hence the "probably".  Incidentally, since it's unknowable, it's in a superposition of already gone wrong, and about to go wrong until we measure it and inevitably find that it's gone wrong.
