I saw a few references to ICC in the forums & thought 'well, I should at least try it - it must be pretty good'.  So I signed up for my 7 day trial & downloaded the software but I'm damned if I can figure out how to play.  I keep getting a 'disconnected' message & when I click on 'reconnect' nothing happens. 

Just a comment really - I might try again before the 7 days expires but it does seem a lot easier to play at chess.com.  I guess I'm used to playing here now & ICC would also become 2nd nature but making it easy to get started has to be a top priority to getting new members hooked & encouraging them to join.  Obvious really but I just thought I'd make the point.

Regarding which I remember I wanted to start a thread on being a Greeter which I'll do now.

chrish, change always takes work. On ICC click on the tab "1: Newbie Help" and type your questions. Alternatively, click on Help | Ask a Question. Either way it goes to the same place. Usually a few dozen greeters online; one of them should get to your question within 2-5 minutes and then you'll be up and running. :)
