I always wanted to see how the positional master would handle the white side of the hippo!
Seriously, that was beautiful play by Karpov.

Here in a diagram till move 25 ( I tried to insert all moves with PGN-file, but the editor didn`t accept it)
orangehonda
Damn he's good. Thanks orangehonda for letting me see the game again (someone much earlier posted the game in this format but for some reason the post was deleted). I should study it.
malachi76
The editor didnt accept it because move 26 says Tf1!. I have playing chess for a whil an never seen Tf1 ever.
linksspringer
From wikipedia:the piece is called "torre", meaning tower, in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, "tour" in French, "toren" in Dutch and "Turm" in German
So in all these languages you would write "Tf1" instead of "Rf1". But you are right, the PGN editor expects English notation.
oh. did not know that. Thanks

ciljettu
Even in a simul, Karpov never hurries. He makes it look so easy, like I could wake up one day and play like a 2700
