Even though it looks alright perhaps better was 9.Ng5 ... Qc8 10. NxP winning the pawn because if pxn BxP+ KH8 BxQ.

Black should be able to repel the attack and be better after it.

The knight sac is perfectly sound! In fact, in the final position 13.Bxe6+! Kg6 14.Bxc8 winning the queen. Therefore, Kxf7 is a blunder. However, after 12...Rxf7 13.Bxe6 Qf8, the position is equal.

Nxf7 was a fine move!Laughing

You could - why would you want to?

What is the long-term follow-up? Your plan for the next 5-10 moves?

If you can't answer that, the sacrifice wouldn't be sound even if it was (which it isn't!). Surprised

One pawn isn't sufficient. Also consider that this pawn is going to be a disadvantage for black in the final (based on the given position with most pieces removed), since the knight in front of it has to be moved away, therefore losing a tempo.

cannot understand your spelling, and the sac was worthless 13.Bxg6+ 13.Qxg6 14.Qxg6+ 14.Kxg6
