Hello everybody. I am basically letting people know about a recent online Chess Club that I have organised. As I live in South Korea, there is limited chess clubs here (I think there is one in Seoul). Anyway, for those people that wish to join a Chess Club and are living in South Korea please join my chess club.
There will be tournaments for those in the club and perhaps (if it gets popular) a possibility of creating a tangible chess club in Korea. There is only one other member so there is opportunities for people to become administrators if they wish.
I hope I see you down at Korean Chess Club http://www.chess.com/groups/home/korean-chess-club and we can organise some games soon.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Martin
Ofcourse you are. Let me make it clear for rules of eligibility. You must make one of these:
1. Some relative to Korea.
2. Lived or worked in Korea.
3. You are Korean and currently resident.
Great idea Martin ! Chess is not popular in Japan,
i'll think about a chess club in Japan, and we'll
connect them.
Yeah. Would be great for an Online Asian Tournament or something like that. I would like to send a personal message to those living in South Korea like you do when you host a tournament and can send a message to everyone but have asked Erik and it might be in the works to sort out a message service for people residing in particular country.
Anyways, for those in Korea, have a relative in Korea and worked in Korea please join so that I can setup some tournaments soon.
Well its true that chess it's not that popular in asia but if where there i would be playing "Go" here in madrid there is only 1 Go club. sorry for getting out of topic think of this as a BUMP >_>
