Why did you triple post?

I would say the King, it has the worst move (excluding pawn, but at least pawns can upgrade) and you have to protect the king.

Least favorite piece for me?

I would say possibly the rook. It seems to just sit there till the end of the game. It's a good piece, but I use my other pieces way more.

Not really. If you can't bring them to open files, then put them in the center. Then you can use them to stage attacks.

My least favorite piece is one I don't have. Frown

Seriously, I like all of the pieces. They all have their specific tasks, and they all work together.

My least favorite piece to manuever is the rook, but for some reason I fear my opponents knight a great deal.

Knights are my least favorite.  I've lost countless a game, endgame, etc. because of an unexpected fork.

Then pawns are next.  I would like them if it wasn't for one thing, they can't move backwards.  There are countless strategy books on how to take advantage of this.

Queens are my favorite.  Not because I'm a good attacker, but because of how many times my opponent tumbles forward trying to attack with her, only to be pushed back and find himself under attack.

Hi guys,

My least favorite piece is definitely the rook.  I just dont use them well.  Other guys seem to be much more confortable with them.  I am ackward.  I am frequently unsure which two column they belong on.  Or possibly, I know I want a rook on the c-column, but dont know if I want the king side or queen side rook there.  Also, for me, rook and pawn endgames are the hardest.  Frequently troubled over whether to defend or attack with my rook(s).  I dont know rook and pawn endgames well enough.  For me, the rook is my least favorite piece.

The King because he is usually useless in battle.

I hate bishops.  And bishop pair is over rated!

Bishops need so many condition to be effective.

The piece I have the most issues with is any King that is not the same color as the pieces I'm currently using.  Whenever I see one of those, I am filled with the incredible urge to checkmate it however possible.

It really does depend on the position. I don't really have a favourite chess piece or a least favourite one. It depends on the position.
