If someone is rude, just start a topic about it

The Shadow knows.  Apparently, he is somebody who is alive.

I'm about equally rude in person.  I'm not really able to relate.   Strange to be rude to bank tellers in the drive thru...I'm always afraid they'll take longer so I'm extra sweet.

I do think anonymity on the net is more beneficial than harmful.

That hadn't occurred to me, but probably some of them do that. Tongue out That wouldn't make any difference at my bank's drive thru.  You have to fill out your transactions on a form and send that in instead of talking to them.  Sometimes the only spoken words during the whole thing are at the end when the cannister shoots back out and from the speaker I hear a bored-sounding "you're all set" mumbled at me.

    Possible answers:

    "I'm the Lindberg baby."

    "I'm your worst nightmare"

"I could tell you but I'd have to kill you afterwards"

    "I am that I am"

"I am he who walks the night"

"I am the once and future king"

    "I am Spartacus"

"I am falser than vows made in wine"

    "I'm Batman"

Same.  But they can see your demeanor in the camera.  And they always have to ask me something for some reason...how do you want the bills or something.  I find "thanks" makes the tube get back faster.  Could be in my own mind.

"falser than vows made in wine"...hehe...I like that.

Hm...looks like you missed my 1977 American Open fistfight story.

Additionally, for the first time in 11 years I signed up with USCF to play in a tournament...and before the first round had even begun, two middle-aged guys were arguing like a couple of 8-year-olds over a chair.  I thought to myself, "Some things never change"...

I did miss that Tony, which thread is it in ?  I would like to read it.
