Why when it says live is it sometimes red and sometimes green.
Also it said I was live it green letters when i wasn't anyone know? :S
erik and his team are aware of it and are getting it fixed.
ok thanks
From a previous post green live means online and red live means in live chess.
This is confusing because of the "LIVE" bit no matter what. but like that other poster says it seems to be being fixed
ok what i was thinking was that the green live sign means that you have been on live chess 2day or something

no, its getting fixed [it hasn't been done yet].
erik and his team have a lot of things to do on this site, so priority doesn't fall on a live chess sign getting fixed. Not when they had things like live chess, and explorer to work on.
Actually, this is intentional, but I think only the Chess.com staff knows what it means. :) Its very unintuitive, but actually what it means is:
Green Plain Antenna: Online on the website
Red Live Antenna: In Live Chess, but NOT on the website
Green Live Antenna: In Live Chess AND online on the website
Oh good heavens who can remember such drivel. Can't we all just get the new star trek interface and be able to say
"Computer, where be my homies?"
True, peoples live chess status' are often incorrectly reported. That is a bug we are working on fixing.
So if the red antenna mean is playing not on wesbite, where do they play? In cellphones?
