Lot of sandbagging going on!! What to do with sandbaggers?

It is happening a lot nowadays. I seeked for opponent in 3 minute blitz and players ranked 700-800 were playing like 1500s and beating me quite comfortably. Is sandbagging equivalent to cheating? Should I report them?

Here are some sandbaggers:

1. HappyCheater:

2. lincolnbrown

I beat this second sandbagger though :p

A person who pads a handicap or acts as if he/she is at a lower skill level than he/she actually is

I've "tea bagged" a few chicks before, but never heard of "sandbagging"

Your rating is your rating.  I have, from time to time, ended up with a ludicrously low rating on some sites, usually because I have a raft of games going when I'm called away on a business thing that doesn't let me play for a month or two, so I get a bunch of forfeits.

I've found myself a 900 aching to play 1700's and 1800's again, but there's often little you can do except work your way back up by beating who's available to you.  If you're losing to good players who happen to have low ratings, appreciate the lesson and move on.

Plus, sandbagging isn't really sandbagging when there's nothing on the line.

Don't really see much sandbagging here.  Your opponents didn't play particularly well, you just have a real habit of hanging pawns and falling for exchanges.

What's the point of doing that? Wouldn't it be a lot more interesting for them to play people in their rating range?

Maybe they get some pleasure beating low rated players like me

"stealing of rating is funny"

that is actually quite funny, although it sounds like he's asking to get banned.
