Isn't it great that chess is one of the only games that is amazingly complicated, yet involves absolutely no luck. However, one may say that luck determines wether or not you're black or white, but...

It's luck if your opponent blunders or misses a winning move. I don't see how that could be considered skill.

If your opponent blunders of misses a winning move, it is due to a lack of skill on their part.

Chess is a pure test of skill.
