Is there any way to force a chess engine to play a specific opening?

For example, I'm not to good at the Sicilian Defense, and I want to practice against the computer. However, it doesn't always open with pawn to King 4, and it certainly doesn't continue on the conventinal lines of the Ruy Lopez, or any book opening that I've heard of.

I'm currently trying to use a number of free engines I've found, including Fruit, Toga, and the free beta version of Rybka.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

yes you play the opening moves you wish to start with onto a blank board, then save them as a game.

Now you can load that game as a starting position any time you wish.

you can save variations of your opening wihin that game and play whichever ones you want by stepping through and choosing.

You can also edit the opening book if you want an opening family, for example.  These are usually available for most engines.
