I have a membership that will be closing soon (not a problem for me), but I have advanced into the second round of many tournaments. Because you are only allowed to play in one tournament at a time (excluding official), if you were a gold member and is currently playing in 5 or 6, will you automatically lose the games when membership expires?

No, you should still stay in the tournaments and not lose any games. You will not be able to join anymore tournaments though intill it's gone down to 0.
