The most games I've ever had was 38 and that was a struggle. And after that I went down to about 20 games and stayed at that for a long time, then I gradually went down even more to about 15 and now 9. I think I would start to lose concentration now with anything more than about 17 games.

I have fifty-nine (59) online games in progress, which is way too many, so I won't accept or issue any more new challenges until I get this number down to below ten (10).

Last time this was on the forum (a few weeks ago), I had 34 and said I was going to bring it down to below 20.

Now I have 42, was 44 this weekend. So it goes... At least all the tournaments I was going to play have started, should go down for a while now.

most games I had in progress was 220+..something there, I wanted to keep around there, but then plans changed so now I want to have around 30-50......

I think if I dropped it to about 10 at a time, my rating would probably increase. But then I would be bored waiting for people to move all the time.

Yeah, it kind of sucks to have a game you've invested a lot of time in resigned by your opponent for reasons that have nothing to do with the game itself.

because i'm a fast player, i keep my games in the 40-50 range
