When I go to the analysis board on online games, theres just a board. No options on the right side, just a big blank white space. I can't go back on moves, and everytime I want to do another variation I have to shut off the whole analysis and open it up again.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I've never had this problem.  Hmmm.  Did you jiggle the cables?

In order to one-up your bad tech support.

Is there a big glob of mayo or something thats obscuring the analysis board?

I had a problem with the analysis board as well ...but a different one.

The pieces can move wherever they want...and if you are under check and you don't notice that your King can go were he wants...I wrote to the technical support to ask what is going on....I didn't like at all the answer!!!Undecided...

I report my complaint:

paula53 "I use often the "analysis board" to study my possible moves in the game
Now is from 2 or 3 days  the Analysis board doesn't work properly
Can you fix it ????

the staff : "This is a new feature addition. We got a large number of requests to make the analysis board open. Making it more like a real chess board sitting on your desk. This allows for more free form analysis.

- Josh "

Less than 24 hours ago, there has been an update of the analysis board function: There is a new tick box in that window:

Now you can choose if you wish that your analysis board enforces legal moves or if you can move the pieces around on the board freely :-)

So your problem has already been fixed now by the staff here, Paula :-)

@Mimchi: I do not know, but have you already tried restarting your browser / clearing the browser cache? Maybe your browser just hasn't refreshed to the new analysis board version yet ...
