This is a game I recently played, It has been my best so far.

On the above game my rating wwas 1130 now it's 1356. Why did it go so high? Does the number of moves determine to some extent the rating besides the obvious opponets rating? Also note the unorthodox Bd3 move against the Caro Khan defense. comments would be appreciated.

you have a provisional rating that will move around a lot more then normal until you play a certain amount of games. He was rated about 300 points higher then you so it moved a lot.

No ur clicko rating system points must be high still. So ur either new and havent played enough games yet or u havent lost regularly enough, so it remains high points for ur results. Not to mention u played a great game against a much higher rated player so u was going to get a good wack of points for that. Well done on this game mate!....

As for the game. blacks 3...a6? waisted move that didn't do anything useful. Better is dxe4 followed by 4...Bg4 idea.  4.Bd3? better is either 4.d4 or exd5.  4...Nd7?? gives a pawn away ( 5.exd5...cxd5  6.Nxd5 ) 5.b4?! as stated before exd5 better or 0-0 was ok too. 9.g3?! wasnt the best i felt 9.Re1 would be better to attack in the center. I leave it at that. You need to work on ur openings a little bit but ur middle games are reasonable. Again well done!....

You could of played better, I am sure of it. That was a bit poor.
