How long will it take for a tournament (round 1, group of 5 players) to end ? Especially when players take vacation and slow in reply.

24 players, group of 6, 1 day per move.... 4 weeks for one round.  Then there is the extra 2-3 rounds after.

I am in the chess.com sicilian tourney with over 450 players at 3 days a move.  Out of the 84 groups of 6 that started Feb. 1st, we were the first to finish, which was over a month ago.  Unfortuanetely, you will have to wait until every game is finished before the next round starts.  Those type of tournaments can last over 6 months.  Therefore, it depends on your patience..
