    Hello all,

I have created a new group called For the Love of Gambits.

    http://www.chess.com/groups/home/for-the-love-of-gambits

Already in the forum is a exploration of the kings gambit. My goal is to explore individual gambits and then create group matches using that gambit to allow the players to apply the information immediatly. The matches will then be posted in the same forum topic for all of the group members to see.

The goal of this group is to collect players from all ranks who are serious about learning more but not afraid to have fun.

If you are interested in joining this group please send me a message and we can get this thing under wayCool

Through a blunder on my friend's part, he and I discovered this following "gambit" via the Nimzowitsch Defense (1. e4 Nc6).

It was a blunder on my friend's part, but White does get a little counter-play for it, namely open lines for his Queen and light Bishop on the Kingside. Although, it is doubtful that this compensation is worth a pawn.

Anyway, does anyone know if this gambit has a name; I'm sure it does:
