Besides chess, one of my biggest ambitions is being a musician.  I am part of a music group called the Stones of Fire.

I am creating this forum to give a link to our firstfruits in the video department.  I am singing to one of our songs off of our "Five Star" album - "How Good Love Can Be".  It is a simple video, but we are currently working on getting more videos on YouTube.

Doug, I listened to the song, as I am a music freak. I enjoy music from so many genres including country music.

The song is excellent! I really enjoyed it.

Best wishes for much success on your music trails. You have a great voice/diction/expression. Definitely albums/concerts seller quality there!

before watching I hoped I could reply to you "you sing very well for a chess player" but this is a very positive surprise - a great song and very well performed. I also like the female voice in the backgeround, it combines very well.

Well, I don't like country, but I gotta admit you got the voice, man. Already passed to link to quite a few friends, and luckily (whether they like it) they're gonna do the same.

Good on him... you gotta take advantage of any avenue you can. If one has drive and passion on top of talent, he/she can make anything happen...

I appreciate all the positive feedback!  This is one of the big reasons I had to back off from my "excessive" commitments on chess.com....working towards solidifying our goals in the music industry.  We are about to record new material very shortly....I will keep everyone posted as we get new videos and new songs available...
