What is generally the right amount of games to be playing when you are ranked in the 1300's to 1400's and are playing people ranked in the same range?
Two other factors to consider.
1. Generally you want to have at least at 60% to 70% win ratio.
2. Should your games be at different stages of the game?
Some at the opening game?
Some at the middle game?
Some at the endgame?
My outlook on a question like this is to play as many games as you want but only play as many as you feel comfortable with whatever number you choose. The game is mean't to be enjoyed, there is a player on this site, "Aniko", that has over 1700 games running at once, that player cannot be enjoying the game as it becomes a race to stay within the time limits.
