So who is the number one in chess.com? I checked out 'ouachita', who is the highest rated player on line, but he is number two, which make me wonder, who is the number one or... there isn't a number one? How is this ranking calculated?

ouachita is #1 on this list (from My Home --> Online Chess --> View Players), but there is also the titled players list.

Yeah, but if you check his profile you see this: Today's rank: #2 of 71,802 (99.9%), which is my question. There is no number listing in My Home --> Online Chess --> View Players.

It is an oddity of chess.com that the number 1 ranked player has always been #2. Whether intentional or a bug, who knows? Smile

Well they only played 17 games, so it's not that impressive.

If you take a look at Kamasutra's profile you will see that his best win was against zigza, who in turn has also been banned for cheating. I guess there's quite a few centaurs at the top, playing all centaur matches, eh? Wink

I don't think I'd want to see it.
