Man, that's not chess. Not Championship chess anyway. First to 6 games, not more than 30. Leader after 30 wins if no one gets to 6. If tied the champion retains the title.

My guess is that it will start on nov 6th approx 3pm.

If that is correct do I win the year membership?

I agree that Anand will have the opening preparation edge, but if recent tournaments have shown accurately, then opening prep has not been a big issue, as many times it is hard to have perfect technique from a "slight advantage"

I think it is 60-40 in favor of Carlsen. Mainly based on whether the prep can outweigh Carlsen's better talent

I don't think preparation will mean that much in this match, Carlsen has already proven that he can play garbage openings and still outplay anyone in the entire world.  

@Fixing_A_Hole Carlsen was playing some 2600 players when he played garbage openings!

Hell, there isn't even a build up for the World Series of Poker 2013, November 9 which takes place a week before Carlsen/Anand. Surprisignly the final day of the November 9 is 1 day before the Carlsen/Anand match starts, coincidence?
