I think it would be a great idea to have Olympiads on Chess.com! Like, the top 5 players from each country could be a team. Then you could have a 'virtual gold medal' if you win! Thoughts on this? Wouldn't it be cool?

Olympiad on Chess.com would be very cool but there should be eliminination tournaments for each country to determine the composition of the team.  Six players from each country would be nice.

Another interesting idea is to have three events in the Olympiad.  A country can field one team each for Standard, Rapid and Blitz.  A Correspondence Chess Olympiad is also a terrific idea.
