I have a question about the rules of Online Chess. I understand that you are not allowed to consult engines or stronger players about what moves to make.

I am curious, is it legal to play a game against an engine using the current position of one of my games as the starting position?

Also, if I am playing a game that is following the same line as a grandmaster game, is it legal to analyze the grandmaster game with an engine?

I have not used an engine for either purpose, but I am curious where the line is drawn.
