I'm fairly new to the site. I've placed 3 open seeks on online chess. Two have been acepted by people playing multiple games. I've won 2 on time. Not very satisfying to say the least. Both opponents abandoned the game. A waste of my time. My question is, does the site automatically assign the game to a person who has multiple seeks out, or do these people accept the challenge personally. If the latter is the case, then to abandon a game without a word for what ever reason, is very rude and unsportsman like. Can't do anything else but  just vent out my frustration.

grnknt, have you tried turn-based chess ?  You can choose to make a move in 3 days, which is not very much time and people tend to be more open and say....polite.

When you put an open seek out there then they accept it themselves. Yes alot of players on live chess are rude.

Thanks for your answer to my question.

I just needed to vent. I know that no matter what, people will be people, it seems that you're one of the nice ones.
