brod, he may be using the "conditional move" option ... (not necessarily from programs) ... but he has programmed his move/s based on what he thinks you will be moving.

Well, if it was conditional moves it would say so. I actually don't like Conditionals. He may well be cheating.

Oh, FFS.  Do you have an intimate knowledge of how the online/offline icon works here?  Is there any basis for your wild accusation?  Or is it just the usual hysteria about how you don't understand something, so it must be cheating?

There is also the possibility the moves are occurring from a form

of psychokinesis. If your opponent had stared at the board contemplating

moves or combinations with a high level of concentration, it is very likely

the moves are telekinetic.  This phenomnon is called the "outer limit"

     variation.

Occassionaly I can log on from my bed, when I am int hat REM state of sleep, go in, do a few moves and log back off....all without ever going near the keyboard.

I call it the Blunder Knightmares, I log off and go to bed, then wake to find I have logged on without even realising it, never gone near the keyboard, but with the power of my own subconcious, sadly my subcioncious is crap at chess and has usually given away my Queen or sacrificed a key pawn.

Its like the opposite of the elves and the shoemaker, I am metaphorically sneaking downstairs and unpicking my own shoes.

This has derailed, and I can only assume that rich there was joking....(although I don't know the chess.com forum regulars) But such an accusation would be pretty absurd and without basis.

I knew a kid that would get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.  He would walk to the toilet, shake some dew, flush, and go back to bed - only to wake up and realize he had wet his bed.
