Hey

Does anyone else think too much e-chess has hindered their ability to calculate OTB? I often find myself wishing I was playing in front of the computer in my tournament games. Especially when it comes to factoring in pawn moves. Pawns just seem simpler when they are 2D.

i go through stages when i feel like online chess is totally ruining my OTB chess.  for me though, i get way more opportunities to play online and i just want tot play so it's a risk i take.  i'm not sure how to overcome tha drawbacks...

that's easy to solve just tilt your monitor screen way back until it's at a more conventional OTB angle.

when calculating, the only thing i see is the board, and the board is always 2d :o)
