I played the first game yesterday night in U1800, it is not scary at all.
If you don't find it scary, then you obviously don't understand what's going on...(Aha, I'm joking, of course. Glad you enjoyed yourself!)
Scary? Last time I checked it losing at chess doesn't harm you.
You sure?

Hi
I have not played chess for almost 20 years, I have registered and started playing on chess.com in the end of 2014. Now I decided to play in a real tournament. I have got the USCF card for this.
Are there any specific tournament rules published anywhere? For example, one should record the move after making it on the board. How does one offer a draw? By saying "I offer a draw?" Does one need to bring one's own score sheets? There are many small things one is guaranteed to forget. :) Is there any USCF code for this?
Thanks for any help.
