I'm getting really irritated by out of time - wins.
I have already won 4 times because players ran out of time.
I just want to say that it is not very nice to simply quit the game by running out of time! It doesn't help me if I don't win by wit.
I want to ask you guys if you have similar troubles and wnat to hear your opinion.

Yeah, sadly sometimes an opponent will start a game and then they will not come back to finish it. This has happened to me many times.

The only thing I can suggest is to go to http://www.chess.com/echess/players.html and then look for a player who has played MANY games and then challenge them to a game.

Also soon Chess.com will be coming out with "LIVE chess". When this happens it should be easy for you to find a real time game with another eager member.

I raised this point on the 11th, and like you feel it is becoming more common than is realised. It is a waste of our time setting some players on, and we don't find out until it is too late.

yes i had a couple: a 1 mover and a 10 mover. i came to play not win by forfeit.

yup happens to me too!

 

Look at Peoples stats to see how many time outs they have if they don't have enough games to prove their not a runner play unrated against them.

 

 

I've had a few, but just before the time runs out i abort the game as i don't want out of time wins on my stats. i agree it is a pain all you can do is look at their stats before playing them.
