For anyone who is interested; check out my game with hotovo....we have been lining up our pieces waiting for each the other to make the first mistake....I have six pieces in place for the kill which has just begun because my opponent made the unfortunate move allowing me to initiate the attack with superior strength....but the main point is having the patience to wait until that opening occurred. A few weeks ago a friend of mine rated around 2200 told me there are two things I should remember which will allow me to win many more games than lose.....control the middle of the board and never attack! I don't necessarily agree about the never part and I think it is safe to modify his advice to say sufficient patience must be employed before the attack!
