1) Hey erik, you should make the pawn game as a starting position =D incase we want to practice (or maybe as an option in live chess). Maybe all pawn games can be unrated =o.

2) Does anyone know how to get to the following position in the least amount of moves? (this is an actual question since I want to know)

Thanks for the help.

Thats a good Idea, they could make that a starting position. Whoa!that would be too fun and could attract more people to chess.com.

From how I see it, it would range about 60-80 moves if both players wanted to reach the position you showed above, If playing a real game......... that position might never come. All i have to say today, ADIOS

Well I mean, If both players purposefully gave up their pieces in order to reach this position.

Edit: Also, maybe Erik could install a custom position, where people can make a position to start with when challenging. =D

There it is after 20 moves. The position is reachable in 18 moves if you don't want to move the A & H pawns.
