I like the knight, too. I found this in Wikipedia pertaining to the spelling and as an engineer - I have a difficult time spelling (and typing) and recite this all the time. I can do some serious ciphering though...

i before e
except after c
or when sounding like ay
as in neighbor or way
or on a holiday or any day in May
so who came up with this rule anyway?
